Dr. Causey was raised in Hall County and attended local elementary, middle, and high schools, graduating from East Hall High School. Today, he and his wife are raising their four children in the same community, with their kids attending North Hall schools.

Dr. Causey’s path to orthodontics was shaped early by watching his father serve North Georgia as a local physician. That example of care, integrity, and commitment to community stayed with him.
After earning his degree in Biology from the University of North Georgia, Dr. Causey attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and was accepted into the orthodontic residency program there as well. His dedication to learning and improvement didn’t stop after graduation — it became a defining part of his career.Board-Certified. Nationally Respected. Actively Teaching.
Dr. Causey is a board-certified orthodontist and has remained deeply involved in advancing the orthodontic profession. He served as faculty at the Dental College of Georgia for nearly eight years and continues to teach orthodontics at the Charles H. Tweed International Foundation for Orthodontic Research.
He has lectured across the United States, sharing expertise on clear aligner therapy, modern orthodontic techniques, and clinical excellence. Dr. Causey also serves in leadership and advisory roles with professional organizations, educational institutions, and national dental partners.

Leadership on the Court — and in the Office
Before orthodontics, Dr. Causey learned powerful lessons on leadership, discipline, and accountability through basketball. Playing at Duke University under Coach Mike Krzyzewski shaped how he approaches challenges, teamwork, and growth.
That same mindset carries into his orthodontic practice. Dr. Causey leads by example, encourages continuous improvement, and holds himself and his team to the highest standards — always with the goal of delivering exceptional care and results.
